You want the best for your pet. You want him to be healthy and happy. You think you're doing the right things for him, but how do you know? What if you could actually measure how healthy he really is? There's an easy way to do it: the Pet Health Scorecard.

Though the Scorecard should never be used as a substitute for a thorough veterinary exam, your Scorecard rating indicates your pet’s health now, and then again after changing his food to Purina ONE. Will Purina ONE make a measurable difference in your pet’s health? Try it and see!
Determine Your Pet's Current Score
Download and print the Pet Health Scorecard to help track your pet's progress. Answer the questions according to how your pet is today and write the number of the answer in the space provided in the left column. Determine your pet's results by totaling the column.
Transition Your Pet to Purina ONE
When switching pet foods, a gradual transition is important to avoid stomach upset. To transition, mix an increasing amount of Purina ONE with your pet’s old food over a seven to 10-day period until your pet is eating only Purina ONE.
For accurate results, you should begin looking for healthy changes after this transition period. And remember, while there are appropriate times to change a pet’s diet, frequent changes are not recommended.
Evaluate the Results
After 30 days, answer the questions on the Pet Health Scorecard again, listing your answers in the right column. Total the numbers and compare. Healthier pets typically have higher scores; the bigger the difference between the "before" and "after" scores, the more progress your pet has made. A truly healthy pet will score between 20 and 24 points.
