Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality food my senior cats love! I adopted from the same shelter, 2 senior kitties at different times. Duncan is now 19+, adopted Dec 2014 & Miss Kitty is almost 12, adopted Aug 2015... there are 3 other kitties in my family; Gabby 18, who arrived as a baby in 1998 & Rudy 7, adopted in Sept 2014 and Kevin 3,adopted in June 2015.. had switched all cats to a grain free food recommended by my vet. Unfortunately, Duncan the 19+ year old seemed to have issues digesting the grain free; and Miss Kitty arrived at the shelter needing MAJOR dental with a lot of extractions and it seemed too hard for her to "gum/chew" ... so I switched these two back to Purina One Sensitive Systems. Duncan, the 19+ year old now very rarely vomits up his food and Miss Kitty 12, can "gum/chew" the kibble, because the pieces are smaller & a little more porous ... and they both LOVE the food! And mom is happier that they are having much fewer digestive issues! The other 3 kitties are always at Duncan's & Miss Kitty's dishes... think I will be switching them back too, once the grain-free is gone. Thanks for a great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Siberian Cat with Food Allergies loves Sensitive Systems! Smokey is a Siberian cat that we have had since he was 8 weeks old. For the first 12 months, he could not tolerate any food we gave him - soft or hard; fish, or meat or chicken. Chicken was recommended because it is so easily digested. The more chicken we gave him, the more diarrhea followed. Reading the labels on the cans, we discovered chicken is in almost every can whether it is fish or meat. Finally, one day a Vet Tech suggested Sensitive Systems. Not sure why we hadn't seen it on our own. We read the label. No chicken! Turkey is the primary ingredient. After a couple weeks of eating just Sensitive Systems, his system was just as normal as any other cat we've had (we've had nearly a dozen over the years). Now, he . . . and we . . . are happy campers!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from All my kitties have sensitive tummies All three of my kitties ate Purina's Sensitive Systems for several years and seemed to enjoy it - particularly the small pieces (which all Purina One dry formulas have now#. For years, all dry cat foods had huge, dog-sized pieces that our feline babies had to knaw on with their very small teeth; to combat this, I had to mix the dry w/their wet foods to make the pieces easier to chew, swallow and digest quicker. This formula seemed to be less harsh on their digestive systems and we had fewer and fewer "throw-up" episodes over time.I am still using Sensitive Systems, mixing 1:1 with Purina NF dry renal food - since they became 15 this year and require kidney health monitoring - mixing the 2 products makes the dry food more attractive to their palates and gives them a familiar taste instead of an entire change from one they love to the not-so-tasty kidney product #which by necessity is blander).Purina has been the mainstay of all of my many kitties' lives for over 40 years, so you can count on its quality and healthy outcome for your felines!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for Digestive Issues Since he was very young, my cat has had a sensitive stomach and digestive issues. I won't go into detail, but he had significant issues. Frequent vet trips, medicine and trying different foods would help the problem a bit, but the one other food that really helped was an expensive prescription food that I had to order...then I tried this and it worked wonderfully!! My three other cats love it, my sensitive-belly cat loves it and I could not be happier. I felt so bad for him and I am thrilled that not only is this product a reasonable price, but this company cared enough about animals to develop such a product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from losing hair from food allergy -- RESOLVED we were using an indoor advantage cat food for Chelsea and she started pulling her hair out in clumps after a year. We took her to the vet and figured out it was her food. we switched to sensative systems and her hair is now growing back in and she no longer has the issues of pulling her hair out or itchy spots from her allergy. Chelsea had pulled out nearly 1/4 of her hair from her tail to her front shoulders on her trunk. She was also throwing up frequently. I guess animals are like humans and food allergies can happen after a while. Thanks for the food that works so great on her and she loves eating it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy kittys! We tried Purina One Sensitive Systems after years of using premium food from a specialty store. It was becoming harder to drive the 1 hour one way to purchase the premium food and we wanted something we could buy at our local supercenter 10 minutes away. I did a lot of research on what was available and decided to try Purina One Sensitive. There was a high dollar coupon out at the time so that was what we tried. The cats liked it immediately. Their activity has increased and they all seem more playful, not laying around all the time. I am very happy and our 3 cats are doing amazing on this food.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pur fect My cat has a very bad stomach. She is sensitive to everything. She will throw up every brand but once I tried the purina one it did her well. She has been on it for two years now and there is no issues with it. Also now that I got a kitten she is also eating this food mixed with her kitten food and believe it or not that is the only way my kitten would eat the dry food. Before I was giving her plain kitten food and she would not eat it. I am glad I tried the purina one brand. I just wish I can receive more coupons though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purina One Sensitive Transition I have four cats that tend to have digestive issues. The switch to Purina One Sensitive was recommended by my local SPCA. I slowly transitioned their food, along with small amounts of pureed pumpkin, and have had great results. I am almost to the point of weaning off the pumpkin and solely feeding the Purina One Sensitive. I thank you and my carpets thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favored food if my cats I feed both canned and Purina One kibble dry food to my three cats. This is the only kibble food my cats will eat. One of my cats prefers kibble over canned and this is his favorite brand. The one who eats just the Purina One kibble has the best coat and looks the healthiest of the three cats. They seem to like the Turkey and Chicken flavors the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Went from expensive premium dry cat food to this, with GREAT results! My indoor-only short-haired cat just turned 3 and started throwing up his food each time he ate, immediately after eating. I took him to the vet, who ran tests and found nothing wrong. The vet prescribed a VERY expensive food that the cat tried to cover up (yep, it was THAT bad!!). I tumbled to the fact that my cat might be sensitive to chicken, his main previous diet and preferred protein source. So, I tried four other sensitive stomach non-prescription brands (many had chicken ingredients buried in them), stopping with this one. He loves this food and has only thrown up once since on it, producing two large hairballs...and very little food, at that. What a change! The very positive results: no more nighttime kitty vomiting (which woke me up) and a much happier cat who eagerly chomps away on his Purina One dry cat food for sensitive stomach. Since the turkey agrees with him, I have also been supplementing with Purina One turkey (with gravy) wet cat food. My budget loves this Purina One, too! [It helps me afford the expensive Maine Coon food for my 20-pound Maine Coon! ;-) ]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more flaky skin Gnocchi had white flakes on her black hair when she first arrived. I put her on Purina One Sensitive Systems and the problem was gone in a week! Her fur seems to have grown in thicker, too. Thank you for making a high quality food that is affordable and available at a store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Settled cat's stomach I was unable to print the coupon but I've used the Sensitive Systems in the past and my cat has stopped throwing up! I actually mixed it with the cat food I had on hand so as not to waste it, but it worked. Would like to continue using it. Could you mail me a coupon? Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cats love it! Not only do my cats love it, my oldest has severe issues with a sensitive tummy. She has thrown up most of the super expensive specialty brands but very seldom has issues with Purina One! Thank you for delivering such a great product at such a reasonable price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helps ease tummy issues My 2 cats occasionally have an upset stomach and vomit when I feed them dry food. My vet recommended Sensitive Systems, so I bought some. My cats seem to have fewer digestive upsets, and they enjoy the taste of this blend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A True Purina Fan I adopted my kitty Abby a little over s ago. She was the cutest little 8 week old kitten ever. It didn't take long after getting her home, set up, and comfortable to see that she wasn't just picky when it came to her food but she had a hard time keeping it down. After taking her to the vet many times and us trying her on many different perscribed foods that she refused did a vet tell us she has sensitive stomach and he handed us a sample of Purina Sensitive System Formula to try. I was extremely surprised until then every vet just kept writing us prescriptions for expensive foods you had to purchase at the vets office that Abby didn't like. After giving Abby the bowl of Purina it didn't take but a few seconds of her looking it over, giving it a few good smells that she immediately started eating it. This was the first time in the 2 months that we had her that she really liked the food she was eating. I was a little worried she wouldn't keep it down but she did. After about 2 weeks I was able to finally relax. Abby was still keeping the Purina down and still loving it. Today you would never guess by looking at her that she's 15 years old. She's healthy, happy, and full of energy. She truly is a special part of our family. We love her so much. She's the Best! I want to give a BIG Thank You to Purina, you're the Best!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cats won't eat anything else I have a Maine coon and a Ragdoll. Both tend to vomit now and then. Sensitive systems food helps tremendously with that. My Maine coon has a tendency for bladder stones and the one for Urinary tract health has meant fewer trips to the vet for this issue. Very happy with this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for itchy skin a stray cat showed up, biting and scratching himself. all the hair on his face and head was gone from pawing himself. he didnt have fleas and a injection only gave him relief for a couple days. i put him on sensitive systems and within 2 or 3 days, he stopping twitching and scratching. his hair eventually grew back . it took about a year before his system fully recovered form whatever allergy? he had, now he can eat regular cat chow. another cat had constant yeast infections in his ears and no treatments helped him. he scratched his ears til they bled. put him on sensitive systems and it took a while, but now he is healthy too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Improved health and coat! One of my Siamese has had health problems since he was a youngster. His coat has been rough, he has a cough, he has vomited on a regular basis. After testing, countless vet visits, antihistamines, expensive cat food, I switched to Purina One dry food. This is the one I tried for him first and it stopped his vomiting immediately. Gradually his coat improved. His weight dropped. (He needed to lose some) Now his cough is gone. His coat continues to improve- it is like silk. I can't believe it. Now I mix it with the new Immune System Purina One to improve his immune system. After all these vet bills, I am so impressed with this product line. Way to go Purina!! Thank you!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thank goodness! No more daily vomiting! My four year old cat, Domino, was vomiting almost every day, losing weight, and lethargic. I decided to change his food and did some research to find the best food for his digestive problems. He has been on purina ONE for about a month now and he is doing much better! Minimal vomiting, he is gaining weight, eating more, and is definitely more active. I am so pleased with this product and he is too! I would definitely recommend Purina ONE if your kitty has digestive issues. It is also cheaper than many brands which makes it even better!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Zacks favorite! When I first got Zack (as a result of my neighbors transferring with the navy) he had been on meow mix. He had terrible hairballs, shed a lot and when he gacked it left terrible pink stains on the carpet. Decided to take the plunge and slowly switch him to Purina one hairball formula. He did great but still saw the hairballs. Then tried the Sensitive formula and that did the trick. Before it was almost daily that he threw up, now it's a rare occasion that I see it. And when he does, NO STAINS!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Picky Seniors Sensitive Tummies I recently added the Purina One Sensitive Stomach Cat Food to my senior cats diet. In the past, they would only eat a food with a redish color. When their tummies acted up, I had stains. I had hoped they would have less issues with Purina One. They enjoy it and have calmer stomachs. They haven't vomited yet, but I have tested the food by wetting it. I'm so pleased, happier healthy hats, and if they do get an upset stomach, less or no stains!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way Less Hairballs! One of our cats broke off a tooth & had to have another one extracted and had trouble chewing his dry food. We tried this variety and he has no trouble digesting it at all! Having 3 cats, we found the occasional hairballs pretty often... but since we started feeding them all the Sensitive Systems dry- found only 2 in the last 6 weeks! We are extremely happy with this formula & THEY LOVE IT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sensitive Systems good product My older kitty Tahlula has always had issues with vomiting since she had pancreatitis and recovered. When I switched her food to Sensitive Systems, the vomiting became much less frequent. Her sister Mavis loves the food too and never has digestive issues unless she eats a bug. The only problem for Tahlula is that she sometimes eats too fast and throws up because her tummy is too full!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy transition My senior cat developed GI problems. He was vomiting and had diarrhea. My vet suggested a food change. I decided to try purina one. My cat loved it, making an easy transition from his old food. He hasn't vomited since he started your food and his diarrhea is getting better by the day. So glad I chose this brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from picky eaters love it. I changed to this food because the ingredients looks better then the last food they were eating. I had to change to a gentle food because my one cats stomach does not agree with most foods. This brand is agreeing with him just fine. No surprises when he eats and the bowl is always empty each morning.

    Feeding Instructions

    Adult Cat Feeding Instructions

Fill your cat's bowl with the recommended measured amount every morning and allow her to eat on a "free choice" basis throughout the day, rather than as a single feeding at mealtime. Food intake required to maintain an ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment.  Monitor your cat's weight and adjust food amount accordingly.

    Feed Only ONE

A cat's digestive system works best when it receives the same food each day. Although humans crave variety in their diets, cats do not. Feeding different cat foods can turn your cat into a finicky eater. Avoid feeding table scraps, as they can upset the nutrient balance provided by your cat's regular food, and may lead to obesity. For questions related to the health of your cat, see your veterinarian.

Making the Switch to Purina ONE

Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Purina ONE® can make in your cat, please allow 7–10 days to ease the transition from your cat's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Purina ONE until you're feeding Purina ONE exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.

    No Supplements Necessary

Purina ONE provides 100% complete and balanced nutrition for maintenance of adult cats. There is no need to add vitamins, minerals or other supplements, unless specifically directed by a veterinarian.

Fresh Water, Proper Diet & Veterinary Care

Be sure to provide fresh water in a clean container for your cat daily. Proper diet, exercise and veterinary care are the best ways to keep your cat healthy. If your cat hasn't had a check-up in the past year, please make an appointment today.
