Rated 5 out of 5 by from A True Purina Fan I adopted my kitty Abby a little over s ago. She was the cutest little 8 week old kitten ever. It didn't take long after getting her home, set up, and comfortable to see that she wasn't just picky when it came to her food but she had a hard time keeping it down. After taking her to the vet many times and us trying her on many different perscribed foods that she refused did a vet tell us she has sensitive stomach and he handed us a sample of Purina Sensitive System Formula to try. I was extremely surprised until then every vet just kept writing us prescriptions for expensive foods you had to purchase at the vets office that Abby didn't like. After giving Abby the bowl of Purina it didn't take but a few seconds of her looking it over, giving it a few good smells that she immediately started eating it. This was the first time in the 2 months that we had her that she really liked the food she was eating. I was a little worried she wouldn't keep it down but she did. After about 2 weeks I was able to finally relax. Abby was still keeping the Purina down and still loving it. Today you would never guess by looking at her that she's 15 years old. She's healthy, happy, and full of energy. She truly is a special part of our family. We love her so much. She's the Best! I want to give a BIG Thank You to Purina, you're the Best!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Siberian Cat with Food Allergies loves Sensitive Systems! Smokey is a Siberian cat that we have had since he was 8 weeks old. For the first 12 months, he could not tolerate any food we gave him - soft or hard; fish, or meat or chicken. Chicken was recommended because it is so easily digested. The more chicken we gave him, the more diarrhea followed. Reading the labels on the cans, we discovered chicken is in almost every can whether it is fish or meat. Finally, one day a Vet Tech suggested Sensitive Systems. Not sure why we hadn't seen it on our own. We read the label. No chicken! Turkey is the primary ingredient. After a couple weeks of eating just Sensitive Systems, his system was just as normal as any other cat we've had (we've had nearly a dozen over the years). Now, he . . . and we . . . are happy campers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality food my senior cats love! I adopted from the same shelter, 2 senior kitties at different times. Duncan is now 19+, adopted Dec 2014 & Miss Kitty is almost 12, adopted Aug 2015... there are 3 other kitties in my family; Gabby 18, who arrived as a baby in 1998 & Rudy 7, adopted in Sept 2014 and Kevin 3,adopted in June 2015.. had switched all cats to a grain free food recommended by my vet. Unfortunately, Duncan the 19+ year old seemed to have issues digesting the grain free; and Miss Kitty arrived at the shelter needing MAJOR dental with a lot of extractions and it seemed too hard for her to "gum/chew" ... so I switched these two back to Purina One Sensitive Systems. Duncan, the 19+ year old now very rarely vomits up his food and Miss Kitty 12, can "gum/chew" the kibble, because the pieces are smaller & a little more porous ... and they both LOVE the food! And mom is happier that they are having much fewer digestive issues! The other 3 kitties are always at Duncan's & Miss Kitty's dishes... think I will be switching them back too, once the grain-free is gone. Thanks for a great product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from All my kitties have sensitive tummies All three of my kitties ate Purina's Sensitive Systems for several years and seemed to enjoy it - particularly the small pieces (which all Purina One dry formulas have now#. For years, all dry cat foods had huge, dog-sized pieces that our feline babies had to knaw on with their very small teeth; to combat this, I had to mix the dry w/their wet foods to make the pieces easier to chew, swallow and digest quicker. This formula seemed to be less harsh on their digestive systems and we had fewer and fewer "throw-up" episodes over time.I am still using Sensitive Systems, mixing 1:1 with Purina NF dry renal food - since they became 15 this year and require kidney health monitoring - mixing the 2 products makes the dry food more attractive to their palates and gives them a familiar taste instead of an entire change from one they love to the not-so-tasty kidney product #which by necessity is blander).Purina has been the mainstay of all of my many kitties' lives for over 40 years, so you can count on its quality and healthy outcome for your felines!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Went from expensive premium dry cat food to this, with GREAT results! My indoor-only short-haired cat just turned 3 and started throwing up his food each time he ate, immediately after eating. I took him to the vet, who ran tests and found nothing wrong. The vet prescribed a VERY expensive food that the cat tried to cover up (yep, it was THAT bad!!). I tumbled to the fact that my cat might be sensitive to chicken, his main previous diet and preferred protein source. So, I tried four other sensitive stomach non-prescription brands (many had chicken ingredients buried in them), stopping with this one. He loves this food and has only thrown up once since on it, producing two large hairballs...and very little food, at that. What a change! The very positive results: no more nighttime kitty vomiting (which woke me up) and a much happier cat who eagerly chomps away on his Purina One dry cat food for sensitive stomach. Since the turkey agrees with him, I have also been supplementing with Purina One turkey (with gravy) wet cat food. My budget loves this Purina One, too! [It helps me afford the expensive Maine Coon food for my 20-pound Maine Coon! ;-) ]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Improved health and coat! One of my Siamese has had health problems since he was a youngster. His coat has been rough, he has a cough, he has vomited on a regular basis. After testing, countless vet visits, antihistamines, expensive cat food, I switched to Purina One dry food. This is the one I tried for him first and it stopped his vomiting immediately. Gradually his coat improved. His weight dropped. (He needed to lose some) Now his cough is gone. His coat continues to improve- it is like silk. I can't believe it. Now I mix it with the new Immune System Purina One to improve his immune system. After all these vet bills, I am so impressed with this product line. Way to go Purina!! Thank you!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only food my cat can keep down I have a 6 year old rescue that has sensitive tummy. He has had issues since he was about 6 months of age. We ran countless tests at the Vet, tried sooo many different foods, many of them prescription diets...spent so much money. He would be fine for a few months and then the barfing would start again. Purina One Sensitive Systems is the ONLY food he has eaten with no vomiting!! He has been on it well over 2 years with great Vet checks, he has finally put some weight on and we have all our adult cats on it! They all look great, their coats are soft & shiny & we love this food!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sensitive stomachs! This is the only cat food my cat will eat where she won't throw it back up. I've tried several other brands and she doesn't like them! She's about 7 years old and a short haired kitty. I HIGHLY recommend this for cats with sensitive stomachs!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A happier Furbaby means a happier momma! I've been racking my brain since my baby cat Kiara got older and seemed to have a very upset stomach when eating. I've always had her as an indoor kitty and so i fed her the indoor formula cat chow. she loved it! But as she got older her stomach needs became a problem. She would often throw up what she had eaten frequently and sometimes several times a day. the store that was in the small town where we resided kept a small supply and variety of cat foods. We moved to a larger city and I discovered sensitive systems. It's worked wonders for her. she is throwing up less and less as time goes on. she's a happier furbaby and I'm a happier momma because of it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our Cat Thrives We switched to Purina ONE Sensitive because of vomiting issues we experience with another premium science based diet. Our indoor cat eats this better and the vomiting issues went away after we switched. Litter box cleaning is easier as well. This formula is more available and costs less then the previous brand which was recommended by our veterinarian. Over my 50 years, our cats have always preferred Purina cat chows over other brands and this formula is not different. The neighbor cat also enjoys it and visits often for his special treat. I have used Purina chows for all of our farm animals and none have let me down. Quality is built into the product regardless of species.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Older Cat - Sensitive stomach My older cat started having trouble with stools & vomiting. I decided to change her brand of food she has eaten for many years to see if that would help. After receiving a sample of the sensitive stomach purina one formula, I found that her problems are solved! She immediately loved the taste of the food and her issues have gotten much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new cat just loves this!!! I just adopted my cat from a shelter and she is so sweet! She just loves this formula, she comes out whenever I fill her bowl. I guess she is used to this particular formula because I am following what the shelter suggested. And it is all natural with Chicken being the first ingredient. No wheat gluten. I am happy with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more upset tummy and pennies in my pocket!!! My 14yr young female cat was diagnosed several years ago with, what the vets thought, irritable bowel. She was vomiting immediately after eating and had bloody diarrhea. She has been on a very expensive hypoallergenic prescription diet which definitely helped her condition. I realized I was running low on her dry food. I decided to check online to see if there was a hypoallergenic over the counter cat food. My search led me to Purina One Sensitive Systems. I purchased a small bag and fed a small amount to both my cats. They devoured it! I prayed and held my breath that my sick kitty would keep the food down. She did!! It has only been three days but, so far, she is doing great - no vomiting. The savings is phenomenal!!! I was paying 67.00 for an 8 pound bag of the prescription food. Thank you, Purina One!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely the choice of all our cats We have 4 female cats at this time, but have had as many as thirteen. They all love it, and have NEVER had a UTI, and this is the only food they all keep down. Previously we used some foods with artificial colors in it (i.e. red, yellow) and they would throw up all the time. We have been feeding the Sensitive systems for as long as it has been on the market. We wouldn't switch if you gave us our cat food for free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality food takes care of our cat's needs Not only have I switched my cats to this food with excellent results (2 of the 3 were having stomach problems and couldn't keep other foods down), but I volunteer at a small humane society and we also use it with excellent results. So many animals today are having trouble digesting foods made with dyes and who knows what else, but after we switch them to Purina One products, they do remarkably well. We recommend it to our adopters and friends alike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PurinaOne Sensitive Systems Bag... My cat loves this food. It is the only dry food that she will eat. She is VERY picky. If the bowl is 1/2 full she will bite toes to have it filled up.The only problem I have is with the bag...no handle. There is enough room to make a handle. There should be a handle above the seal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cats love this food! I read the label of the former dry food I bought for my cats, it was not healthy. My four cats were vomiting several times a week. I compared ingredients and price and decided to switch to Purina One Smartblend Sensitive Systems. I followed the directions regarding switching the food gradually. My cats love it. The vomiting has stopped. I told my sister about this great product. My sister switched. Her two cats love it also. My cats ages are one, ten and fourteen. I wish I switched years ago. This dry food is worth every penny. My cats seem healthier and happier. Thank you Purina!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Cats with Sensitive Digestive Systems I have four cats, and two of them have had problems with digestion at times, sometimes having loose bowels or regurgitating. Also, a couple have been overweight. Once I started feeding Purina One Sensitive Systems to them, all of the digestive issues cleared up, and quickly. Also, one cat lost all of the weight she needed to be within a healthy range. This product is also delicious, as they seem to really enjoy eating it. I am very happy with this food. It is not very expensive either, much less than some of the other brands that offer products for digestive issues. I will continue to buy this cat food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No red dye I do not use any food that had red dye for any of my animals. Over 20 yrs ago my cats started throwing up their food quite a bit and figured out if was the dye and had to search and try cat foods that had no dyes and they liked. Now they are not throwing up and and looking healthy. I have also changed to Purina dog food and everyone I'd happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purrfect! When we brought Brandy home from the shelter, they said she had food allergies and that we should feed her Science Diet (at $26/bag!). When we took her to our vet, (who sells Science Diet) he told us to use the PurineOne Sensitive instead. Brandy loves the taste and she is thriving!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really helped my 15 year old cat I started feeding Purina sensitive systems to my 15 year old cat Peaches about a year ago. She started to experience problems keeping her food down. It seemed everything we tried irritated her stomach. We picked up a bag of Sensitive systems and immediately noticed her problem went away. Now it is very rare for her to have any stomach problems, which make her happy, and us very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazed, My Cats Love This Food! Our 2 ten year old cats began vomiting a week ago every time they ate their dry food that they have been eating for 9 years. We made one vet visit. Vet couldn't see any reason for their vomiting. After not being able to get through one day without one of them vomiting, my husband went out late last night and bought the Purina One for sensitive stomachs. These two cats don't eat anything but their dry food. They don't like any thing else so I never thought they would eat the Purina One. To our amazement, they are both eating the Purina One today! Thank you for this great cat food for sensitive stomachs.

    Feeding Instructions

    Adult Cat Feeding Instructions

Fill your cat's bowl with the recommended measured amount every morning and allow her to eat on a "free choice" basis throughout the day, rather than as a single feeding at mealtime. Food intake required to maintain an ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment.  Monitor your cat's weight and adjust food amount accordingly.

    Feed Only ONE

A cat's digestive system works best when it receives the same food each day. Although humans crave variety in their diets, cats do not. Feeding different cat foods can turn your cat into a finicky eater. Avoid feeding table scraps, as they can upset the nutrient balance provided by your cat's regular food, and may lead to obesity. For questions related to the health of your cat, see your veterinarian.

Making the Switch to Purina ONE

Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Purina ONE® can make in your cat, please allow 7–10 days to ease the transition from your cat's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Purina ONE until you're feeding Purina ONE exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.

    No Supplements Necessary

Purina ONE provides 100% complete and balanced nutrition for maintenance of adult cats. There is no need to add vitamins, minerals or other supplements, unless specifically directed by a veterinarian.

Fresh Water, Proper Diet & Veterinary Care

Be sure to provide fresh water in a clean container for your cat daily. Proper diet, exercise and veterinary care are the best ways to keep your cat healthy. If your cat hasn't had a check-up in the past year, please make an appointment today.
